• All exhibits entered for competition shall be subject to the control of the Director of the Department in
    which they are exhibited.

  • Exhibits which display or distribute material of a controversial or political nature will not be permitted.  All
    applications for exhibit space must have the unanimous approval of the Fair Committee.  The Fair
    Committee reserves the right to decline exhibit(s) if deemed advisable.

  • All exhibits MUST be in place and fully installed by the time designated in each department or otherwise
    they will not receive consideration from awarding committee.

  • No exhibit shall be removed in whole or part during the period of the Fair with the exception of Baked
    Goods entered for competition.  These will be removed after 10 pm Wednesday night and placed in the
    Fair Office.

  • Judges will be appointed by the Fair Committee.

  • The decision of the Judges will be final.

  • While every reasonable precaution will be taken for safeguarding exhibits, it should be understood that
    the exhibits entered in competition for prizes and that the owner assumes all responsibility for any
    accident, loss or damage that may occur.  Neither the Fair management, its officers, or agents will be
    responsible for any such accident, loss or damage.

  • All articles, after being entered and until surrendered to the owner or agent will be entirely under the
    control and jurisdiction of the Fair Management.  No exhibitor will be allowed to remove, handle,
    rearrange, improve or disfigure under same circumstances, unless permission is granted by
    Department Director or Fair Management.

  • For every article entered the exhibitor will be given a coupon showing department, division and class of
    the article.  The receipt must be preserved and presented to the Department Director to claim entered
    articles on Sunday, October 23, between the hours of 2 pm and 5 pm.

  • If any exhibitor rudely refuses to comply with competition regulations or final judgements, he/she will be
    disqualified from receiving premiums and barred from future entries until proper amends have been
    made.  The re-instatement of the offending party will depend on a majority vote of the Fair Committee.

  • An exhibitor who tears off a premium ribbon or authorizes any person to do so in the presence of the
    awarding judge, or refuses to accept a ribbon from a judge, or insults the judge shall forfeit the
    premium or diploma and be excluded from competition.

  • If it is ascertained  that any exhibitor or agent or the exhibitor has made or caused to  be made a false
    statement in regard to any animal or article exhibited, or if any exhibitor or agent of exhibitor shall
    attempt to interfere with the judges in the performance of their duties, he/she shall be excluded from
    competing or exhibiting.  The offending person will be escorted from the Fairgrounds.

  • Where any conflict appears these general rules and the special rules governing different departments,
    the special rules will take precedence.   The Fair Management reserves the right to construct its own
    rules and regulations and to determine all matters and differences in regard thereto, including
    amendments.

  • Any exhibitor having a space reserved and not occupied 24 hours prior to opening of the Fair may
    have reservation cancelled at the discretion of the Management.

  • Exhibitors will be held responsible for the cleanliness of their exhibits and space surrounding same.  No
    work of this character will be permitted during the hours the building is open to the public.

  • No smoking or lighted candles, lamps, matches, etc., will be allowed in any tent or exhibition booth in
    buildings.

  • When space is allotted, a permit to occupy space will be given.  Such permit is not transferable.  No
    other party  will be allowed  to share space with the original applicant, except upon the approval of the
    Management.

  • Advertising matter and samples of articles on exhibition only may be given to the public from their booth
    space or exhibit.  No article may be sold from exhibits without special permission from the Fair
    Management  The right is reserved to restrict or discontinue this privilege whenever it is carried to
    excess or becomes an annoyance to visitors.  Only advertising matter of such articles as have been
    contracted for with the Management by exhibitors by exhibitors may be posted in booths.

  • Advertising by means of posters, prints, hand-bills, samples, etc., will not be permitted on the
    Fairgrounds, including the Parking Lot, except upon agreement with the Fair management.

  • Applications for entry should be in the hands of the Chairman of the Fair Committee no later than the
    date prescribed in the rules governing the department in which the entry is made.

  • intending exhibitors shall write plainly on the entries blanks the Department and Class Numbers of the
    prizes offered for the article they wish to enter, using exact wording of the premium list and must have
    their mailing address.  Exhibitors will save themselves and the office of the management much time by
    attending to those directions and preparing their blanks before proceeding to make entries.

  • The Director of each department must check the entries shown in the Entry Books in each division, with
    the exhibits presented and so mark the entry books that they will show what animals or articles were
    passed on by the judges.

  • Prize money will not be available until after 5 pm Tuesday, Oct 18th.  This includes Arts &
    Crafts, Mini Booths, Art Show, Produce, Canning, Baking and Educational Booths.  Parade
    Money will be mailed to winners.
