The Miss Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair Pageant is open to girls throughout the seven
county area (Bryan, Bulloch, Evans, Candler, Tattnall, Jenkins & Screven). The
competition takes place Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at Springhill Suites
Conference Center, Hwy 67 South at the By-pass. It begins that morning at 10
am with the younger children's competition. At 4 pm that afternoon the young
ladies' experience starts.
Miss Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair has several duties during Fair Week starting with a
ride in the parade. Its then on to Opening Ceremonies for the Ribbon Cutting at
the fair. During the week she's been known to hand out ribbons at the livestock
shows or just mingle with fair goers. In January she attends the "Fairest of the
Fair" pageant at the Georgia Association
of Agricultural Fairs in Atlanta representing
