Entries
  • All entries must not have been previously entered in the Kiwanis
    Ogeechee Fair  

  • Art Exhibit and must have been created in the past 5 years.

  • No exhibitor may enter more than one (1) exhibit in each category.

  • Each entry, with the exception of those in the children’s and hanging,  
    Wires must not be  attached by tape.

  • Children of any age through grade 12 may make only one entry.

  • Exhibits will be accepted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday Oct 10,
    2009 at the side door near back of Home Arts & Crafts Building.

  • All entries must be picked up on Sunday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Oct
    18, 2009.

  • No entries will be removed before 2 p.m. Sunday.  NO Exceptions

  • High school students may enter in the adult category.  An adult is defined
    as a high school student (9th grade & up) or older.

  • All work entered must be original art—no copies from art instruction books,
    no paint by numbers, and no work copied from published art.

  • The Statesboro Regional Art Association and the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair
    Committee each reserve the right to refuse to show any exhibit it considers  
    unsuitable due to subject, framing and/or originality.

Section 8 Rules (children’s):        
Only one exhibit per student.  
Maximum size is 18 x 24, including mount board or mat.  
Student’s name, grade, school printed legibly on the back.  
Original works only—no paint by numbers.

Awards
A ribbon will be presented to each first, second and third place winner in each
category.  Cash prizes will be paid as follows:
1st         $6
2nd        $5
3rd         $4

Special Category:  Kiwanis Heritage
Prize Money for Oil or Acrylic:  1st  $125        2nd  $75        3rd  $50
                   Photography   1st $50          2nd $25         3rd $10

  • Painting or Photo must depict Southeast Georgia Heritage
  • Minimum size 9” x 12”  excluding frame  Work must be framed and ready
    to hang.
  • All Media are eligible
  • Entries may not have been previously entered in the Kiwanis Ogeechee
    Fair Art  Exhibit
  • High school students and adults may enter
  • ONLY one entry per person is allowed.

Liability:  Neither the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair nor the Statesboro Regional Art
Association will be responsible for any artwork left at the fairgrounds after
October 18th, 2009.
